As we do each year, SBIA will be hosting Iftar daily (for 120 people), with the community iftar on Saturdays at Masjid al Mustafa & Downtown center.

Eid ul Fitr 2009

Insha Allah, due to multiple confirmed hilal sightings within the United States, we’ll be celebrating Eid on Sunday, September 20th, 2009 at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Insha Allah, the program will begin at 8:30 AM Sharp! Download Flier

Eid ul Fitr 2009 – Prayer and Celebration on Sunday, September 20th.

Location: Santa Clara County Fairgrounds (S. 7th St, San Jose, CA)

Day long program featuring: Eid Bazaar, Delicious Food, Activites for Children (Carnival, Pony Rides and Petting Zoo), Stage Shows, Face paintings, and more.

The program is as follows:

Amusement Rides – 11:00am-5:30pm
Air Jumpers – 11:00am-6:00pm
Popcorn – 11:30am-5:00pm
Cotton Candy – 11:30am-5:00pm
Pony Rides – 12:00noon-4:00pm
Petting Zoo – 12:00noon-4:00pm
Balloon Twistings – 11:00am-5:00pm
Face Paintings – 12:00noon-5:00pm

Ken Martin Juggling Show – 11:30am-12:15pm
Hasaan Martial Arts – 12:30pm-1:00pm
Haji Khaldoon Puppet Show – 2:00pm-2:45pm
Jumping Jamal – 3:00pm-3:45pm
Lets Go to Madina – 4:00pm-4:45pm

Salat ul Duhr – 1:30pm
Salat ul Asr – 5:30pm

Parking will be paid by SBIA, please donate generously.
