Zaytuna College Community Dinner

An Evening with Imam Zaid Shakir and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf

As much of our San Francisco Bay Area community may already know, and may have read in recent press reports, we are in the process of establishing the first accredited Muslim college in America. Insha’Allah, our first major milestone will be reached this month, when we formally open applications for admission. We plan to welcome our inaugural freshman class in Fall 2010.

Please join us during this special Zaytuna College Community Dinner, during which we will give you a detailed presentation about our plans, and introduce you to our Management Committee, a dynamic group of Bay Area professionals. The event will also provide you with an opportunity to engage with Imam Zaid Shakir, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, and Dr. Hatem Bazian, as well as with other religious, civic, business, and philanthropic Muslim leaders in the community.

The scholars and leadership of Zaytuna College appreciate the commitment that this region’s community has demonstrated toward higher education, and it is their heartfelt hope that the success of Zaytuna College will, alongside other institutions, strengthen and enhance the Bay Area Muslim community in particular, but also all Muslims, nationally and internationally.
