New SBIA Center at Harris Way!

 

This is the most exciting time in SBIA's 33 year history. We have never been closer to fulfilling our promise to the community to provide a good venue for the nourishment of body and soul. 
 
In order to keep the community informed and engaged, we have set up a dedicated website for this purpose at http://www.sbianewmasjid.org

This site will be updated with information, status updates, use plans, event, contribution information as we go through the next three months towards the close of contract. We ask for your prayers and support as we embark on this exciting project. Jazak Allah Khayr.

About South Bay Islamic Association

sbia The South Bay Islamic Association (SBIA) is one of the oldest Islamic Organizations in The Bay Area. Its headquarters are located in San Jose, CA. SBIA has been providing various services to the community since 1977 including the five daily prayers at two locations (San Jose Downtown, and Harris Way) and Friday prayers at both locations. SBIA has been active in spreading Islam through various Dawah programs and by hosting a number of activities including Weekend Islamic School, Quranic classes for children, Tafseer (English translation and Exegesis) classes for adults, conferences and community get-togethers.
